(A-2) Narrowband IoT (NB IoT), also known as LTE Cat NB1, is a Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technology that works virtually anywhere. It connects IoT devices more simply and efficiently on already established mobile networks, and handles small amounts of fairly infrequent 2 way data, securely and reliably. NB-IoT sensors and devices are battery powered which last for 3 or more years and are connected to the IoT platform through the mobile network which allows the customers to have very minimal installation to save cost.

iPandaSys NB-IoT provides easy integration of NB-IoT devices and sensors into third system or platform with the provided API or communication protocol.

Application Scenario – NB-IoT support applications that require low-power consumption, long battery life and can be left alone for a long, long time working with the mobile network. Provided that the NB-IoT is rely on mobile network and it also work well in dense urban areas in which the devices or sensor’s locations is difficult or not possible to install a new devices network. For example, if customer want to monitor or measure the indoor air quality in a lobby without a Wi-Fi network covered, NB-IoT can be a handy solution to the customer.
