How Does It Work?


The iPandaSys SmartVAV is one of the Smart IoT features to iPandaSys can work on the local Wi-Fi network with BACNet IP or Modbus TCP protocol Combining with iPandaSys Server, the SmartVAV can connect to other Systems with most of the contemporary protocol such as OPC UA / BACNet / Modbus / LoRaWan / MQTT / NB-IoT.


Further connect the local network to the broadband internet services, all connected VAVs can link up with the iPandaSys Cloud service and customers can have an easy and secure way to control, monitor and perform data analysis to their facilities in anywhere in the world with internet access.





General: The iPandaSys Smart VAV Wi-Fi Controller services integrated VAV controller are pre-programmed, Wi-Fi Modbus/TCP or Wi-Fi BACnet/IP communicating digital controller for the cooling/heating control of pressure independent Variable Air Volume (VAV) and Fan-Powered VAV terminal units. The controller maintains the space temperature by varying the air volume delivered by the damper modulating.


With an on-board airflow sensor to sense the air volume, the controller monitors zone temperature through a remote temperature sensor and then calculates the correct air volume to be distributed to the space by comparing the zone temperature with the cooling and heating set-point.


The iPandaSys Smart VAV Wi-Fi Controller integrated digital controller to be fully operational, the operators needs only to enter a unique device address, select the appropriate personality for the application.
